"In this second book of the Totlandia series, five mommies are just one misstep away from entry into the elite Pacific Heights Moms & Tots Club. Everyone has a scandalous secret to hide, but who will be the next to fall?
I so enjoy this series and I am always stunned a bit sad when each book ends. At least there are more books to be released every three months, so the countdown is not that long. These stories are the perfect read to take along on your smart phone since each chapter can be easily read while waiting. I think it took me about two hours to get through this one. I swear I feel like a junkie with Josie Brown and I just can't get enough of these characters." -- Mary Jacobs, Bookhounds Reviews
"After reading Totlandia, Book 1 (please see my review below) I could not wait to start with the sequel – and I was not disappointed!
I thought I had figured all the characters out in the first book and knew what to expect from this one but that was not the case. Josie Brown put an edge and more hidden secrets on to every single character. The drama and “dirty laundry” is better than any soap opera (and I love a good soap opera ).
I really enjoyed the unfolding of the storyline. All the probationary Onesies are faced with more gruelling challenges to survive the last cut. Only 4 of the 5 remaining mothers and toddlers will be able to become a full member of the Pacific Heights Moms & Tots Club. As if juggling all these club related tasks is not enough, each character is also faced with personal/family troubles.
The book has its “steamy” passages, some of them a bit too much for my liking. However, this does not change my overall very positive opinion of the book.
Josie’s writing style makes it incredibly easy for the reader to follow and feel what each of the characters is going through.
Another amazing read! I highly recommend this book.
I cannot wait for Book 3 – Hurry Josie . -- Cosmochicklitan
"Book 2 of the Totlandia series picks up where Book 1 left off with the probationary moms vying for too few spots in the exclusive Pacific Heights Moms and Tots Club. In this installment the women have all learned each others secrets and are becoming friends which is not good for Bettina and her rather snobby approach to dealing with women. I think she prefers to keep them slightly at war with each other than banding together.
It's a short read perfect to pick up when you don't have lots of time to dedicate to a book. That is what is so perfect about this type of delivery system - you don't have to worry about spending hours in a story and you can pick up with each "Book" quite easily from the last. Serialization is a delight for the busy reader.
The dilemmas presented in this chapter have more to do with interpersonal relationships than with club dynamics as the women are getting to know each other better. How will their knowledge of each others secrets play out as they go forward in life and love and how will they deal with the complications that life is now handing them.
I still do not understand the handling of the autism by Lorna despite a very nice note from the author but perhaps the next chapter will enlighten me further. If you are looking for a read that is rich in character development with intriguing plot points that will keep you looking for the next installment than join the Pacific Heights Moms and Tots Club.

"Well, the Mean Girls have grown up and spawned! Time and again one character or another remarks that “everyone has secrets”. Boy, do these girls have secrets. But it’s what they do with that brings the real fun: some they share, some they keep, and some they save so they can do future mischief! In the world of the Pacific Heights Moms & Tots Club secrets are more valuable than gold…or a slot for their offspring in the best private school in town.
Half the fun of Totlandia is recognizing the women we all know in the characters. Of course these women are WAY over the top but we’ve all seen the manipulations, the self-esteem issues, the power struggles in a sandbox in our own neighborhood. Maybe that’s why it’s so easy to sympathize with these women (the nice ones) or pity them (the really nasty ones).
Against a setting of holiday parties that take the group from Thanksgiving to New Year’s this book just flies by. And, in Josie Brown’s typical fashion, leaves you begging for more. Who will find love, lust, money, belonging, revenge or success next? Totlandia Book 2 is a perfect diversion while you’re waiting at your child’s next tuba lesson or basketball practice."

" I gave 5 stars to the first book in this series, and was more than happy to dive into the second. The story picks right back up and finally answered the burning question of who Madame Ovary is. More secrets are uncovered along the way, as the probationary moms (and dad!) try to win their spot in the coveted Pacific Heights Moms & Tots Club. Some of what is revealed had my jaw hitting the floor, and I was once again riveted by this tale of scandal, friendship, and parenthood from Josie Brown. I hope Book Three in the series is here soon!"

"This continues book one and shows how friendships have formed among the women who might not normally meet each other if not for the group. Drama doesn’t stop just because it’s the holidays. I also see how dull my holiday parties are compared to the one in this book.
This series is just like a soap opera – it hooks you into the story and you have your favorites that you just want to keep following. And just like soap, not all women are sweet and nice. Some are nasty and schemers." -- LoveRomancePassion.com
